I follow a lovely blog written by *Looking For Blue Sky* and I have pinched her photo idea for this post….. hope she doesn’t mind!
Bucket lists are a great excuse to get in some travelling. The Hub’s has always wanted to attend the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters…. so voilà, after much planning and organizing of kids, we packed our bags and flew to France!
Nope, we didn’t go to Saint Tropez, however, it was a given that I would snap a photo of the word *Kiwi*!
We oohed and aahed over many a mountain top village. Numerous pictures were taken and posed for….
This picture doesn’t give credit to the vibrant and mesmerising colour of turquoise. See the bridge? We hired a paddle boat and had a lovely (although exhausting) time paddling into the gorge.
I am pretending to be a hotshot photographer! It is not my camera and I really am very amateur when it comes to taking photos! Look at that amazing view behind me!
This village was incredible and so was the walk up the mountain. We stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of it.
Moments before this photo was taken my hubs said, “watch out for the ledge!”. Ahem…. am I short or what! The hub’s did a bit of a double take with that one!!
This window dressing and balcony appealed to me….
… as did this washing line…
Lots more oohing and aahing over quaint buildings and alleyways!
I don’t want to bore you with 101 photographs so have done a hop, skip and a jump back to the seaside! Another amazing village, extremely tiny with expensive souvenirs. No goodies for me I am afraid, although I did find a blue suede bag in the local market for R150… what a bargain!
The same village…. we did a lot of walking up and down!
We took many tennis action shots. I am only adding one. Nadal is *the* man!
Last but not least…. Let me introduce you to Fred. How gorgeous is he?? Credit for the photo goes to my friend Sandi.
Our holiday has been and gone. It was the most incredible experience and one that I shall remember forever.
Oh yeah, in case you haven’t guessed already…. we left the kids at home!!!
